Group-A Engineering is looking for a High-Performance Engine Assembler / Dyno Operator to work on hi-profile projects in Norco, CA. Applicants must be mature, experienced, and versatile—able to switch from project to project. Also, the ability to work on everything such as various engines and vehicles both import and domestic. Our ideal candidate would be a team player and is able to work in collaboration with others -we strive for only the best quality workmanship and nothing less, so you must be an individual who takes pride and is accountable for their work! Job Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of work experience as automotive engine builder / assembler at a performance shop, OEM manufacturer, engine repair facility, or similar company • Experience operating a Engine Dynamometer • Engine building experience including: modifying, checking and setting of clearances, and final assembly • Prepare Dynamometer for the following procedures: tuning, power ratings, endurance tests, and testing of different part combinations • Degree in Automotive related field or equivalent experience preferred • Strong evaluation and problem-solving skills • Good written and oral communication skills • Exceptional computer skills including all Microsoft programs • Familiar with tuning software including MoTeC, Diablosport, SCT, AEM, HP Tuners, Holley, etc. Duties and Responsibilities: • Installation and removal of engines in test cells • Set up and operation of Engine Dynamometer • Instrumentation of specific test equipment for evaluation purposes and data acquisition • Communication with Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors • Verifying specifications, measuring components, check / confirm and document clearances and related measures • Document Engine build specifications • Maintain a clean and orderly work area If you are looking for a job where you are excited to come in everyday then Group-A Engineering is the place for you.
