Logistics, Marketing & Promotion, Sales & Customer Service
Develop and grow assigned and new customers to support the strategic growth plan of the company. Be the service provider to the customer and provide our customers with the understanding and practical application of all Treadmaxx® programs. This consultative sales position requires the skills necessary to be a professional sales person who is able to determine customer needs and present solutions and ideas that promote customer growth in their market place.
Achieve monthly and annual budget/plan as assigned by Wholesale Manager, VP and the company
Implement sales and marketing strategy as set forth by the company
Develop and maintain existing customers by implementing sales strategies
Identify, develop and grow new business using Treadmaxx® as the platform
Research, plan and implement sales, customer retention and new business development
Monitor and communicate competitive information including pricing, policies and market strategies
Maximize sales opportunities through sales calls (personal visits or telephone)
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all product lines, policies and merchandising information to effectively serve our customers
Understand and manage relevant reporting for the sales and marketing departments
Promote the Treadmaxx Tire Distributors® image and brand
Maintain a professional image including appearance/dress as well as a clean and organized vehicle

Education, Experience, and Skills:
Education:High school diploma or GED, Bachelor degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, tire sales experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated success at achieving genuine sales development preferred
Think Strategically and Innovatively : Identify and act on ideas which further the Company’s strategic goals and business plan. Thorough understanding of principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development.
Demonstrated Sales Skills: Utilize features-benefits-solutions selling, program selling and problem solving. Knowledge of current materials, methods, tools and equipment (including technology) used in distribution operations to better serve customers.
Plan and Execute for Success: Identify and address root causes when solving problems. Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance.
Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and concisely. Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills. Ability to calculate and articulate pricing and gross profit multipliers, margin return and mark-up.
Act Collaboratively: Work collaboratively with other departments and functional teams to coordinate effective solutions.
Demonstrate Respect: Handle all business matters ethically.
Results Driven: Use market data to positively impact company bottom line.
