A field sales position, concentrating on generating sales/awareness and support of new products, new programs for CRC Key Account NAPA Auto Parts. This position will dedicate efforts and time in a coordinated fashion with the DC Sales Teams, Top Jobber Distributors, and installer Customers.
Ideal candidate must live close to an airport in any state in the Midwest (Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa) and be willing to travel within the region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support sales efforts of CRC’s Distributors with sales calls on company stores, independent jobbers and service dealers to generate awareness and pull-through sales of CRC products.
Manage assigned accounts personally through regularly scheduled sales and develop a working relationship with Distributor personnel.
Maintain Sales Support Materials and possess a working knowledge of all product categories
Coordinate Distributor shows
Coordinate product and sales training
Assist with key regional trade shows, maximizing profitable sales results
Assess the product needs of the WD’s Jobbers and Installers and communicate information back to the company for new product evaluation
Accumulate competitive data for and product information
Update Monthly and Weekly reports as directed
Up to 75% local and overnight travel required. Some weekend travel required.
Sales experience direct to the WD, Jobber and Installer level preferred
Functional computer knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
General repair knowledge in Automotive, Heavy Duty, and Marine.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
Ability to work well independently, and in a team environment.
Strong organization skills, ability to multi task required.
Priority setting and project management skills required.
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Annual bonus based on sales
