The Product Content Data Manager position is responsible for managing key product data and content used throughout the organization and by our customers. This position is responsible for working with multiple departments in managing and driving product data and content needs. The Product Content Data Manager will own new product processes combining attributes needed throughout the company ranging from product rollouts, web use and internal identifications to customer data needs, ACES / PIES requirements and more. This position will process, develop, and extrapolate data from multiple resources and provide organized solutions specific to each customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Administer product data files for existing and new product release
Maintain images (Data imports, exports, updates)
Asset content and data management (dropbox, email, ftp)
Manage users, file imports, and file exports
Work with all departments responsible for providing product data information and assigning to managed product tables
Create & distribute electronic files for RANDYS Customers (ACES & PIES). Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) and Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard (ACES). PIES and ACES are an industry standard way of matching vehicles with the products that are designed for them.
Work with sales managers and marketing to provide timely release of product information both internal and external
Identify and develop new opportunities to streamline product content and data implementation
Champion content and data quality, integrity and reliability
Plan and integrate product content and data integrations with customer facing solutions
Define new processes and solutions to enhance current procedures
Scrub and clean vendor data and content
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
2+ years of progressively responsible work experience in administering product data, preferably in Engineered or Manufactured Products.
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of Automotive market
Demonstrated experience working within a branded B2B environment with exposure to large scale projects and cross-functional, non-reporting team involvement.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, detail orientation and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High degree of professionalism, ability to re organize and re prioritize based on the changing need of the business.
Experience using MS Suite of products, including MS SQL and XML. Must be proficient in Excel in the following: vlook ups, matchkey, pivot tables, sumifs, indexes, macros.
