LIQUI MOLY is a leading manufacturer of OE type high quality motor oils, additives and other lubricant products with our headquarters located in Ulm, Germany. Since 1957 we have supplied the German market place plus over 120 countries with innovative quality oils and additive products for the automotive, motorbike and industrial markets.
In early 1992 we began our sales effort in the United States. Within the past 12 years sales have increased significantly in the US and Canada and we need more team members with specific skill sets to join our team and continue the success.
LIQUI MOLY USA currently seeks an experienced candidate to grow and manage sales within the aftermarket buying groups and their members. This candidate will serve as the primary sales and program contact for all associated buying group home offices. With significance, the manager’s responsibility extends to growing sales activity among member distributors within each buying group.

This job is a full time position that provides a competitive salary D.O.E., plus bonuses. Also included is travel expense reimbursement, vehicle mileage at government rate, laptop, cell phone, home office supplies, 401K, health insurance, HSA account, paid vacation and holidays.
**This position is a home office assignment with consideration that you live in a metro US city near a major airport.
Job Summary: Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:
Develop sales and marketing strategies that increases sales of LIQUI MOLY products.
Build strong relationships with buying groups HQ managers and their member WDs/Jobbers.
Handle day to day management tasks between group HQ and LIQUI MOLY USA.
Pursue and gain “approved vendor” status with additional buying group’s headquarter offices.
Oversee and lead group members’ product departments through the product stock selection and stock up process .
Facilitate product and sales training for members and their dealer customers.
Geographically coordinate LIQUI MOLY field sales reps to support group members.
Document and provide progress reporting as requested and within the CRM tools.
Primary territory: US / Canada
Candidate residence location - must be near a major airport.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in field sales management working with traditional WD distribution. Buying Group experience a plus.
Strong relationship building skills with customers and fellow employees
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset in developing accounts in a consultative manner
Ability to influence and negotiate
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an upbeat selling style and energetic attitude
Have social media marketing skills or capability and desire to learn
Must have strong presentation abilities to customers and to group audiences
Efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills are required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to travel and work occasional weekend trade shows.
Must haves:
Team player, trustworthy, reliable, respectful, confident, strong ethics-(professional/ personal)
Valid and clean driver’s license record
Ability to use MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)
