Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers specializes in restoring and customizing Toyota Land Cruisers (all years and models) and we are seeking a Master Toyota Mechanical Technician to join our stellar team. We are located in Austin, Colorado on the Western Slope of the Rockies at the base of the Grand Mesa which is the largest flat-topped mountain in the world.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional automotive mechanical experience, will enjoy working as a team member, and be dependable. Mechanics at Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers are given a once in a lifetime opportunity to build and restore classic vehicles that literally set the bar in the automotive restoration industry. We pride ourselves in our commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement (Kaizen) in all that we do, and the right candidate will live by these principles as well. The right candidate will be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for a long-term, career minded professional to join our superb team.
We offer a competitive compensation based on experience and a 4-day workweek. (More time to play outdoors!) We also offer health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days. In addition, after 90 days, we offer PTO, paid holidays, 401(k), and additional insurance. Our builds are featured in magazines and on TV and we intend to continue to raise the bar. With that much under our belt, we’ve streamlined essentially all of the processes and have knowledge of all of the correct parts necessary for virtually any Land Cruiser build. Moreover, I believe that the systems we’ve developed over all those years has resulted in “our way” of performing these services being “the best way possible”.
