Seeking an Experienced Sales Manager with knowledge of the Western US Automotive Aftermarket.
The ideal candidate needs to be an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of the Western US Automotive Aftermarket; WDs, buying groups, jobbers, retailers, e-commerce , etc. Candidate needs to have the ability to interpret sales metrics as well as be goal-oriented. We expect this person to perform efficiently and effectively in a team environment working closely with our Rep Agencies to develop strong customer relationships.
Throughout this region, you will be responsible for sales growth, marketing efforts and business expansion. With the opportunity to work independently, you are responsible for your own success.
** This position is a home office-based assignment with expectations to live in the described area.
Work directly and cooperatively with the assigned Sales Representative Agencies in the territory. Review and analyze the Rep agencies on a continual basis.
Develop and implement annual sales plans that drive both new and existing account revenue and growth.
Reports current events and trends on a timely basis.
Communicates and calls on customers in a time-effective manner, both virtually and in person.
Build new business relationships with business owners with-in the automotive aftermarket.
Manage current customer partnerships with all channel levels and add new accounts.
Resolves customer issues regarding sales, service, and products, distribution, etc..
Attend various events as needed, assist with set-up requirements and staffing needs for the shows. Assess the overall value of each show in relationship to sales and marketing exposure.
Facilitate product and sales training for customers and their customers.
Submit weekly and monthly sales and activity reports.
Must be willing and able to travel both domestically an internationally. Travel may be up to 60%.
40+ hour weeks with occasional night and weekend work required.

Western US near a major airport.
Qualifications – Required:
3-5 years of related experience in the Automotive Aftermarket
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an upbeat selling style and energetic attitude
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to influence/negotiate through excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven Problem Solving and Negotiation skills
Service-Oriented
Efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills are required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must have strong presentation abilities to customers and to group audiences
Ability to use MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)
Valid and clean driver’s license record
