We are looking for an experienced mechanic who can bring an immediate and positive impact to our installation team. Position will be focused on (but not limited to) installation of suspension components. This individual must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles for worn components
Installation of parts, accessories, tires and wheels
Recommend improvements to streamline shop processes
Stocking parts, tires, shop supplies, etc
Cleaning and organizing shop area
Maintenance of shop equipment
Minimum Requirements
Lift 50 lbs or more
Physically demanding position that requires constant standing, lift, kneeling, reaching, etc
Working knowledge of truck and jeep suspensions
Ability to identify worn suspension and steering components
Experience repairing independent front suspension and steering components
Minimum 5 years automotive shop experience
ASE Certification is a plus
Computer alignment experience preferred
MIG and TIG welding experience is a plus
12 Volt diagnosis and installation experience is a plus
Desire to grasp installation of various automotive parts installation
Must own your own tools
Safe work practices
Able to read and write English
Ability to read and comprehend product installation instructions
Communicate with other employees to effectively finish work projects timely
This is a 40 hour per week position. Includes major paid holidays and health benefits are available.
Position required 5 plus years of verifiable experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Must have a comprehensive inventory of tools to perform suspension and steering repairs.
