Identifix, a Solera owned company is hiring in our Ford Technical Hotline Department and our GM Technical Hotline Department. We are looking for career Automotive Technicians with 10 plus years’ experience. Master ASE certification with L1 will be required within 6 months of start (company paid) if not already certified. Excellent communication skills and strong diagnostic mindset are a must. This position allows a highly qualified technician to use existing skills to continue trouble shooting cars, light and medium trucks, and PHEV/EV vehicles without risk of injury and high tool costs. Diagnosis is done by phone, email, chat, or web for our customers in North America and all necessary equipment and software is paid for and provided by the company. Strong drivability, electrical, emissions, general diagnostic, ABS/TCS/BAS, diesel fuel injection, aftertreatment system, ADAS, and PHEV/EV skills and system familiarity are a must. Typing (assistance can be provided) and Microsoft based software skills will also be required for documentation and to write diagnostic tips and strategies for our award-winning Direct Hit website. Hours of the hotline are 7AM - 7 PM Central Time, candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift during our open hours Monday-Friday. No flat rate or warranty work. Company paid training opportunities available. This position is a remote/work from home career, reliable internet service and a quiet place to work necessary.
ASE L1 (within 6 months of hire date). 10 years+ dealership or independent repair shop experience.
