ZF is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer in our Vernon Hills, IL location. The position would be responsible for budgeted annual sales volume in US and Canada. Identify and solicit profitable new business while successfully managing established customer relationships. The ideal candidate would be familiar with Automotive National Sales - Private Labels. 

Responsibilities:

• Represent ZF at trade shows and related industry functions
• Provide market intelligence for pricing, market share, and aftermarket trends to maintain competitive market position 
• Responsible to create and execute sales forecast and budget
• Responsible for prospecting and new account set up and customer order processing utilizing a ERP system
• Support independent rep agencies with sales calls, information exchange, and product changeovers. 

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree required or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Effective Verbal and Written communication skills
• Minimum 5 years industry specific experience
• Up to 50% travel
