								<description>Valley City, Ohio,  Schaeffler , a global automotive and industrial manufacturer, is seeking an&#xa0; Account Executive &#xa0;to join our Automotive Aftermarket sales team. This is a&#xa0; full-time position based in the U.S. with&#xa0;regular trips to Valley City, Ohio, 20 miles southwest of Cleveland .&#xa0; &#xa0; 
 &#xa0; 
 The ideal candidate has sales or customer management experience in the  automotive aftermarket .&#xa0; A technical background or interest in the areas of automotive chassis, driveline, and engine components is a plus for the candidate chosen.&#xa0; 
 &#xa0; 
 The responsibility of the Account Executive position is to achieve the assigned sales budget for existing customers, as well to seek out and obtain new customers based on the sales strategies of the organization.&#xa0; The ability to develop and build relationships with existing and prospective new customers, as well as with Schaeffler associates both internally and globally, will be key to success in this position. Travel of up to 50% (including some weekends) will be required.&#xa0; 
 &#xa0;

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
 
 
 Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
 
 
 Ability to multi-task with accuracy and effectiveness 
 
 
 Familiarity with SAP and/or any CRM software also a plus 
 
 
 Self-confident and able to plan, organize, implement, and follow-up 
 
 
 Ability to complete assigned reports on time, including organizing sales prospects, sales planning, or other sales support projects as assigned. 
 
 
 Ability to work both as an individual as well as in a team environment
