 AMD is an ever-growing company who is seeking to hire a Sales Department Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. You will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of your salespeople. Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
 &#xa0; 
 Responsibilities: 
 
 Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls. 
 Meeting planned sales goals. 
 Setting individual sales targets with the sales team. 
 Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary. 
 Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team. 
 The ongoing training of your salespeople. 
 Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education. 
 Promoting the organization and products. 
 Coordinating with marketing on lead generation. 
 Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products. 
 Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors 
 Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales targets are met 
 Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly 
 Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals 
 Coach individual sales representative&#8217;s one-on-one through phone work and prospecting help sessions to help them improve sales performance. 
 Counsel, support, discipline, and terminate underperforming sales representatives. 
 Plan and implement training programs. 
 Plan and preside over weekly sales team meetings. 
 Recruit, select, onboard, and train new sales reps. 
 Set a good example for the team. Work according to company culture and values, prioritize ruthlessly, use good communication, and deliver results effectively. 
 Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers or clients. 
 Track sales team metrics and share them with company leadership. 
 Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps. 
 Prepare budgets and approve expenditures. 
 Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends. 
 Setup and build sales team for showing and demonstrating company products at annual national trade shows. Determine what shows and team members will attend 
 Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company&#39;s relationship with them 
 Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics 
 Prepare reporting as needed 
 Establish customer service department 
 Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences. 
 Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service. 
 Provide expertise when setting and adjusting pricing plans and discount rates. 
 Provide advanced negotiation expertise. 
 
 Requirements&#xa0; 
 
 7+ years in sales management within a corporate setting 
 Automotive &#38; Industry Knowledge Required 
 Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies. 
 Ability to lead a sales team. 
 Experience in customer relationship management. 
 Experience managing and directing a sales team. 
 Dedication to providing great customer service. 
 Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
