 Seeking a technician that can be the care taker for a personal collection of vintage and modern race cars for road racing events. &#xa0;Limited schedule of 8-10 events in a full season. &#xa0;When not at an event, working on a collection of vintage vehicles for the owner of Gateway Bronco. &#xa0; 
 Typical duties: 
 
 Maintenance of historic vintage race cars 
 Repair of race cars at events 
 Support of transportation to and from events nationally 
 Support of car shows nationally 
 Car building capability is desired, but not required, for building of unique vehicles&#xa0; 
 Travel schedule is 8-10 events, lasting 2-3 days per year

 Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
 Work with our graphics, photography, and videos teams to create rich content through brainstorming, outlining, mocking-up, writing, and collaborating their way through every project 
 Own the content on a new website that is dedicated to Bronco&#xae; products and information 
 Write articles for the new Bronco&#xae; line of products and events 
 Author social media posts to publish on the website and associated social media platforms 
 Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, social influencers and individuals immersed in the Bronco&#xae; and off-roading communities to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the Bronco market 
 Be involved with content creation for other Quadratec brands 
 Research and develop article concepts with the Sales and Marketing team 
 Grow our forum presence by generating and posting fresh content the Bronco&#xae; community would appreciate, such as tutorials, reviews, recommendations, and more 
 Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate written content for email campaigns 
 Work with inhouse photographers to clearly define the photos needed from a shoot to complement the written content it will be paired with 
 Ensure all our new product launches and Group Buys are successful by determining what content the community wants and then making sure we have it 
 Help post captivating content on social media that builds an authentic brand 
 Other duties as assigned 
 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
 
 Must be a fellow automotive/motorsport/powersport enthusiast 
 Passionate about writing with the ability to create blog posts,&#xa0;DIY threads,&#xa0;articles,&#xa0;publications, and videos with examples to prove it 
 Articulate with extremely clear written and verbal communication skills. Grammar-hounds welcome 
 Good story telling skills that keeps the reader&#8217;s and viewer&#8217;s attention 
 An active user of popular social media platforms 
 Comfortable in front of and behind a camera 
 Lifelong learners that are stoked to learn new ideas, explore new ways of communicating, and digging their teeth into mastering new skills

 Summary:&#xa0;  Develops improved or new designs for automotive engines, or modifies existing engines on production vehicles, and directs building, modification, and testing of vehicle engines. 
 Successful candidate will: 
 
 Assist the engineering R&#38;D group in developing racing and street performance engines and customizations. 
 Tear down, design, build, rebuild, fine tune and test diesel and gasoline engines to improve gasoline and engine power efficiency; take measurements, blueprint and prototype new components. 
 Operate lathe and mill, boring and honing equipment, cylinder head build equipment and NDT inspection equipment to build engine components to specification.&#xa0; &#xa0; &#xa0;&#xa0; 
 Conduct experiments and tests on existing designs and equipment, using tools such as a flow bench, to obtain data on function of and performance of equipment. 
 Analyze data to develop new designs for motors and other related mechanical, hydraulic, cooling and electromechanical components and systems in automotive equipment. 
 Direct and coordinate building or modification of automotive engines to meet performance goals and ensure conformance with engineering design. 
 Monitor the health of engines by performing routine inspections such as leak down, compression, cylinder bore scope, oil sample analysis and more. Generate reports based on findings. 
 Work with the instrument and test group to perform test activities on engines under designated conditions; analyze test data; identify and resolve engine performance problems; alter or modify design to obtain specified functional and operational performance. 
 Disassemble engines and adjust or replaces parts; reassemble engines and listen to engine in action to detect operational difficulties. 
 Assist in instrumentation of engine with various sensors and installation of engine into DYNO test cells or vehicles. 
 Maintain inventory of engine components and consumables required for the job. Source required parts and work with purchasing team to procure items for upcoming projects. 
 
 Minimum of 3+ years tearing down, designing, installing, building and testing automotive engines 
 Must have an understanding of Gas and Diesel engines and knowledge of turbocharging and supercharging 
 Must be able to create, read and interpret blueprints 
 Must be familiar with engine and chassis dynamometers, and have knowledge of race engine tuning and an enthusiasm for automotive high performance 
 Must have the ability to read and/or write, analyze, interpret and create engineering documents, technical drawings, business correspondence, technical specifications and test results 
 Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30-50 pounds.
